Frequently Asked Questions & Information: 1. What size miniatures do the flags fit? The flags have been sized for 15mm and 18mm metal miniatures, and have been designed to fit the 15mm ranges of "Minifigs", and the 18mm of "AB figures". For specific measurements, please see the accompanying chart in the image gallery. 2. What type of paper are the flags printed on? The colour flags are laser-printed onto 130gsm satin paper, which provides both endurance and flexibility. 3. How accurate are the flags historically? The French regimental flags carried by the line regiments at Waterloo are fairly well documented, as examples still exist in museums, so these designs are followed. The main question is whether some regimental flags had a gold fringe or not, which I decided to include, because they make for a better visual design. The regimental battle honours also feature on each flag. Second, third and subsequent battalions, usually carried a smaller flag of plain colour - white (2nd battalion), red (3rd), blue (4th) etc. There is limited information as to what designs, if any, appeared on these flags/fanions, so I've added the basic battalion and regimental numbers, plus a gold fringe for light infantry. The flags/fanions carried by the Middle and Young Guard infantry regiments, are even less clear, so in this set I have included a few designs and alternatives based on a dash of creative licence, along with what is both known and is speculated upon regarding the flags for these regiments and their constituent battalions. It is left to your own good judgement and preference as to which flags you decide to choose. Thank you for your interest! If you should have any questions, please by all means ask. MichaelTBW
