Description: 1800’s Black Amethyst Vase, hand blown 4”. This glass technique and quality dates this small primitive pitcher to the 1800s. It was found at the site of a very old mill with many civil war relics. The color is hard to capture—as you can see with light it is a gorgeous black-amethyst color. No chips or cracks, you can see the rough pontil mark on the bottom, no other marks. Please ask questions if I have not been specific enough.
