The boards and binding are solid and tight save for heavy wear to the boards and previous owner's bookplate (that of Bishop Cilmour), and numerical notation on the inside front board. The hand-cut pages are crisp and clean save for previous owner's name and notation on the title page, as well as an imprinted stamp of a seminary, and a few spots of foxing on a few of the pages.
