The date is visible on the reverse, and 1 DOLLAR is clear. The wreath still has great detail and texture and all of the reeding can be seen on the edge of the coin. This coin has been holed at some point, and there also may have been some smoothing done near the hole on the obverse. It may also have been cleaned. Guaranteed authentic!
