Original publisher cloth binding shows just light wear, including rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, general wear around the extremities including light bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some soiling to the page edges. Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume! Gilt title lettering to the front board shines brightly with minimal rubbing. Internally, this volume is in great shape overall. Tight and square! Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. There are no bookplates, signatures, inscriptions or library markings to note. The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. Pages show typical age-related toning, some general minor edge wear, and the odd spot of light foxing or soiling, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.
