Description: This is a rare and scarce Hong Kong banknote from the Government of Hong Kong, has a dark purple on multi color underprint and features the portrait of King George V in an oval frame to the right of the front. The front also displays the denomination as well as one signature in black. On the reverse side on the top is the notation “Government of Hongkong”, and Chinese (traditional, regular script) with “One Dollar” shown in the middle. The back is purple and displays the denomination in the center as well in all four corners. The banknote is printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. The note is from the year 1935 and is a one-dollar denomination. The certification of this banknote is uncertified, and it is a great piece of history from a prosperous trading hub in Asia.
