Description: TREX0040ES 1945-1964 Jeep CJ 2A, 3A,and early 3B up to serial #39838. This is an "Under the Drivers" seat tank with 5 screws to install the sending unit and a straight filler pipe. The pickup tube comes installed on the top of the tank. The change in fuel pickup will require extending the fuel line through the floor of the Jeep to the top of the tank. In-line fuel filter required. Includes new 5-hole sending unit gasket. Verify that the sending unit is installed with 5 screws NOT 6 screws. If the sending unit installs with 6 screws, the correct tank is TREX0040LS (eBay # 371446237967). Dimensions 25" x 18 1/2" x 6 1/2". Replaces # 640685.
