Description: 1953 Korean War Thanksgiving Card Menu which served as a greeting card. Signed by Lenthal of the 7th Infantry Division . Enclosed in the card was a newspaper clipping of the GI's version of Christmas Carol. Credited to Lt. Col. Darrell T. Rathbun of St. Petersburg, Florida. Entitled " A Korean Christmas Carol " Please give it a read though, as it is very moving. I believe the poem was inserted into the card by the recipient, clipped from the local newspaper in Dallas Oregon, in the early 1950s. Poem has yellowed but in nice reading condition as is the card.
