The guide is planned chiefly for the naked eye observing, but a few suggestions are given for the use of the opera-glass of field glass. This book is in very good condition. Rubbing/chipping/shelf wear to the jacket around the edges, corners and at the top/bottom of the spine panel. Some rubbing/chipping/shelf wear to the front/rear jacket panels as well as along the spine panel. Dust jacket has been price clipped. Boards are straight and clean with light shelf wear along the edges and corners. The spine and pages are very tight. Previous owners name and address stamped on the front pastedown.
