Description: 1959 Fender Duo Sonic Neck The nut is 1.53" wide and the neck is 0.77" thick at the 1st fret and 0.97" thick at the 12th fret.The neck is straight and the frets show average wear. The fretboard and back of the neck have some indents and finish loss, but no major dings or gouges. The headstock has small dings around the edges and light wear on the top. The finish and decal are original.There was another set of tuners installed which left an extra set of holes on the back. I checked it with a set of vintage Kluson tuners and all of the holes except for the top of the high E tuner will be covered up. There are impressions on the top of the headstock from some washers, but I checked the holes with a set of vintage bushings and they fit. So you can get it about 99% back to normal if you put on some Kluson style tuners. This part was removed from a genuine American made 1959 Fender Duo Sonic. The serial number was "36492" and the pots dated to April 1959. I may have more parts from this guitar up for sale, so please check my other listings.
