Description: Good clean 1978 1979 Ford Truck Bronco stereo two channel AM/FM radio by Ford Aeronetronics. Some apparently say that this will work in a 1973-1977 but I don't have any experience with the dash openings on these truck so will only go to say that they bezel size is 4-9/16 x 3". Check yours and bid accordingly. 1980 and up may have some potential here as well until the modular radios came into play..... I connected this up to power, antenna, and speakers, and it works very well! Tuned in our local FM and AM stations just fine. Tuning is not scratchy and the preset buttons operate nicely as well. Stereo indicator lit up also. Lite works. This unit has been stored indoors for over 40 years, in dry protected environment. I just removed it from the car that it was in a month or so ago to find out that it was not a good fit in that car. To early a car. This is sold as is otherwise, no returns. One of the production stickers is gone. Wires were cut off and adapted wrongly to an earlier car.... I patched up the power wires with an earlier style connector and can remove the repair if you can't use it. You will need to add spade connections to these wires, in order to connect to the stock Ford harnesses accordingly. Will trade for earlier 1969 Cougar AM-FM radio as well for payment.
