Description: These pots are from CTS's exceptionally high quality 450G series potentiometers made specifically for guitars. Typically used for Gibson guitars (SGs, Les Pauls, Explorers, Firebirds), but can be used for Fender guitars with humbucker setups (HSS or HH setups). These audio taper pots are suitable for both tone and volume controls. Before Purchasing Make sure your guitar has compatible mounting holes - If you are using import guitar, you will need to drill or ream mounting holes wider to fit these pots. Import guitars (e.g., Epiphone, Ibanez, PRS SE models, ESP) typically have metric holes around 1/4" in diameter, while these pots require 3/8" diameter holes.Note the bushing height - These 3/8" pots are short shaft but are slightly taller than some 1/4" bushing 250k pots, which enhances their compatibility with various guitar models.
