Description: Two vintage cotton linen hand towels or tea towels, about 19" long & 12.25" wide, machine hem stitched on all four sides. Hand done cross stitch embroidery work in green, red, & golden yellow portrays holiday ornaments hanging on a holly branch with red berries. One towel is "Happy New Year" & the other "Merry Christmas". These appear to never have been used--just stored away for many years. The embroidery is well executed, with crisp color, the base fabric in one has stains from storage-please study photos for condition.
