I bought this guitar brand new, never played it and put it right into my collection. As far as I can tell, there are no nicks or dents of any kind on the body and neck. The gold hardware is beginning to tarnish. The neck plate has a special engraving for the 60th anniversary and the headstock has a emblem for the 60 years which are 1954-2004. The slim C shape maple neck has no fret wear and has low action, which is very easy to play. This guitar has a slight mark on the headstock from the rubber tubing on the guitar hanger at the store (as pictured). All electronics check out.
