Description: This is a very nice 2002 Trek 5500 from back in the day when US Postal Service and Volkswagon were sponsoring Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France. It features an Ultegra 9spd component group that should shine up nice. It is a triple chainring front Ultegra crank which allows for easy hill climbing on a performance based carbon bike. Made in the USA. This bike is still fairly fresh as it has been in storage for most of its life. Continental tires are almost new though a touch aged. Trek proprietary Graphite series bar and stem with Cane Creek alloy headset. I believe this bike is all original. The blue Rolf Vector Comp wheels are in beautiful condition as is the USPS saddle. Don't believe the hype of the new bike industry. This bike will give you all you need for a beautiful ride, besides being a totally cool collector's item.
