Description: 4 Rare FENTON AQUA CREST MILK GLASS 1948 CUP and SAUCER COASTAL BEACH Description Listing is for 4 Made 1940-2 1948-53 more available Vintage Fenton Aqua Crest Opal Cup and Saucer Set. Fenton made this pattern between 1948 and 1953,so it is unmarked. This particular shape of cup was only made in 1948, making it difficult to find. In later years the cup's shape was slightly modified to be more flared at the top. For those of you who have Whitmyer's book, you can find this documented in the silver crest section. The glass is a beautiful white opaline that is very translucent in the light, giving off a great deal of "fire"! This is accented with the delicate aqua blue crystal edge on the saucer and the crimped handle on the cup. The saucer measures 6" in diameter and the cup measures 3 5/8" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. The Cup & Saucer Set is in Excellent Condition with no chips or flakes.
