Description: I collect copper and cast iron. I’ve had this pan in my collection for a number of years. It’s just so unique, that I couldn’t let it go. It’s very heavy! Heavier than any similar cast iron pan I’ve ever seen. Absolutely solid copper body and handle. I have no idea how old it is, but I’m guessing that it’s quite old. The marks that you see in the pictures are hammer marks from when it was made. The pictures absolutely don’t do it justice. I will be happy to answer any questions or provide more details. 5 pounds 1 ounce of solid copper. Skillet is 11 inches in diameter and the handle is 7.5 inches long. 1.25 inches tall. Looks to have had a wooden handle at one time, but it couldn’t have been very long due to the weight of the pan. See photos for more details.
