Each bill in in peso denomination, and each says "The Japanese Government". Scans show them all. This is a nice varied collection of bills, INCLUDING (2) 5 and (3) 10 peso denominations and one 10 centavos note. THESE WERE BROUGHT BACK BY A VETERAN OF THE US LIBERATION OF THE PHILLIPINES IN 1945. A very nice example of something that went through the war, were used, and were associated with the Japanese occupation of the islands. ALL PESO (Philippines) DENOMINATIONS, BUT EACH BILL SAYS "THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT" and were printed by them. Show some use, AND WERE USED DURING THE WAR, but still is in decent condition. A great WWII military related souvenir. A nice battlefield souvenir item from the island fighting in the Pacific Theatre during the Allied invasion/liberation of the Philippine Islands.
