7" Cologne Bottle Perfume Cut glass Crystal VAL SAINT LAMBERT FRANCE star c.1908

Description: I will be selling pieces from my personal collection of American Brilliant Cut glass, so please add me to your favorite seller list for future rare pieces. .........................................................This is a RARE Perfume/ Cologne Bottle. Measure: 7-1/4" tall with stopper. bottle is 5-1/2" tall by 2-1/2" thick front to back, by about 3-3/4" wide. It is an flattened ovoid shape that was common for VSL at this time period.This pattern is from the 1908 era according to old records. This was made by Val Saint Lambert in France, the pattern is shown in the 1908 catalog reprinted by the ACGA. Pg. 76, on a spirit bottle #45 on the bottom row. A quick run to the index says it is a "Flat/ Ball form" like this perfume bottle, and it is shown with a pattern name of "Star / Wheat" and they indicate it was made in colors too (I actually sold this exact bottle in cranberry that was shown earlier this year on ebay). This clear cologne bottle is the same shape and pattern also having those punty prisms down the sides for extra bling! This was hand blown and wheel polished on bottom.Condition: This is over 100 years old. That being said it is in very nice condition. I see no chips or cracks. The stopper appears to be original and fit well with no chips. The inside of the bottle has a little residue that should come out with a good soak and CLR or other cleaner. I rinsed it and it started to some out so further cleaning will remove the rest thats barely there anymore. ...........................................................No Returns! : Sorry but due to cost of shipping & insurance for this heavy glass, I have a No returns policy! I will make an insurance claim and you will be taken care of. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item. USPS will send a letter within a week asking for the item to be brought in for inspection, while other companies may come to the residence for the inspection by appointment. I have to get the claim approved and the item inspected BEFORE I can refund now because they always require inspections and we have to comply with them. So first, pictures. Second, inspection with shipper. Third, shipper approval and refund sent to you.
