Description: This was one of AC Gilbert's top of the line American Flyer transformer for years, the 19B. It was a powerful 300 watts to run large layouts and many accessories, dead man control handles, green power light, on/off switch, a red light that come on when circuit breaker pops . These were tested and work as they are supposed to, which is VERY IMPORTANT. As powerful as these transformers are, the circuit breakers need to function properly. This transformer was taken apart completely, and cleaned and serviced, which included new cord. The action is smooth, not gritty from years of dirt and debris falling into the control handles. This is also important, new carbon rollers were installed, don't buy one that just says tested. Thorough cleaning, new rollers, see photo of difference in new carbon rollers. circuit breaker checks are all important and part of what we do. New bulbs were also installed. Comes with a full warranty, and should provide many years of enjoyment. Special note, this transformer needed a modification in the bulb covers because it just had red and green bare bulbs. New ,long lasting LED bulbs were installed.
