I purchased this from an fairly older woman who said this was her fathers lantern. She said he found some of them in barns and places like that and restored them with their original parts, and then restored them to look in more original condition. He traveled to find some of the parts. This lantern from the chimney to the lowest wire guard are in fairly good condition. The globe is not cracked or broken. The metal has patina. The knob on the slip burner turns. If you're asking me if this works, I do not know but I would guess it does. This is embossed The Adams & Westlake Co. and Adlake 200 on the top of the chimney. The clear globe has CNX and I think the number 4 below that (photo 9) molded into the globe and Made in USA on the top part of the globe (not pictured). The burner says Adlake 250. There are multiple photos of engravings. Excluding the handle sticking up, this stands roughly 9" in height from the top of the chimney to the bottom of the guard.
