Description: Made in England by Alfred Sargent of Northampton:Premier Collection Chatsworth black calf punch oxfords (quarter brogues) with leather soles. SHOE TREES NOT INCLUDED. ORIGINAL BOX AND SHOE BAGS INCLUDED. British size 10F is equivalent to a US 10.5D Outsole dimensions (taken w/ a soft tape measure): 12.5" from front edge of toe to back edge of heel 4 3/16" across at widest (ball of foot) 2 7/8" across heel Shoes have been lightly worn and have creasing normal for calfskin shoes, but no issues and in great, near-new shape. They have always been worn with heel & toe protectors installed so there has been no "grinding down" of shoes at front or back tips. Carefully stored and lovingly cared for with Saphir products. They have classic quarter-brogue detailing, with a strip of decorative perfing separating the toe cap from the vamp (like an Allen-Edmonds Fifth Avenue), with other deco-perfing elsewhere. Strip heel counters are a nice Alf Sargent touch. NOTE: Shoes have had heel & toe protectors installed to prevent wear (see pic 8). Observe in side-view pics (11 & 12) that the front edge of toe and back edge of heel on both shoes shows no grinding, thanks to these small, boomerang-shaped pieces of neoprene that I had a local cobbler install.
