The patina on this trencher is fabulous. The trencher is masterfully hand-carved from one large piece of Virginia Mountain Sugar Maple. It has been worn smooth through thousands of hours of honest, authentic use. Barn found, I have not completely cleaned it, yet I can already see the gorgeous striations of the wood grain. Beautifully carved wood handles underneath the trencher. WOW - what a centerpiece this will make for the holidays. This gorgeous piece measures: 26" Long x 13" Wide x 5" Tall GREAT for serving breads, filling with holidays treats, decorations, fruits and veggies, etc. I cannot stress the difference in the cost of shipping with various carriers; especially if you live WEST of the Mississippi.
