Antique 1884-1909 MZ Austria Pink Roses Gold Trim Ceramic Porcelain Bowl

Description: Good Condition. There is wear to the gold rim and there is a rough spot to the edge that is a gold leaf clump. In my pictures you can see a couple of tiny dots near the center design. I looked at these through my 60x magnifier and these are pieces of decal, they are pink and green, and they are just decal booboos that got glazed over. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are very bright! The mark on the bottom of the bowl indicates this was made by MZ Austria between 1884 to 1909. That means this bowl is around 115 to 140 years old! This bowl has seen some things! It has survived two world wars, two worldwide pandemics, and me handling it! Amazing! It will be shipped with lots of extra packing material and the strongest box known to mankind, the Moist & Meaty dog food box, which has thick walls and tends to deter porch pirates. We can't have the post offices destroy it now after all! The bowl is a serving bowl and it measures 11 1/8 inches or 28.26 cm in diameter at the top rim. It measures 5 1/8 inches or 13.02 cm in diameter at the foot. It measures 2 7/8 inches or 7.303 cm deep. This bowl is a gorgeous display piece and there aren't many survivors of this pattern left.
