Antique 1910 Gibbs Horse Toy

Description: Antique 1910 Gibbs Wood Horse Drawn Chariot Racer - Wood and Paper Litho Printed in tiny letters on the side of this horse and cart is,” Copyright 1910 Gibbs Mfg. Co.” Gibbs Toy No. 6 Pony with Chariot Toy which can be found in the 1914 Catalog but may have been made before and after that date as well.The Horse or pony body is made of wood with a colorful paper lithograph on each side and it has metal tin legs which are jointed and have a mechanism that attaches to the chariot so that they can move.The Chariot is all metal/ tin with the main part being red and the wheels painted gold. Missing Seat- I believe there should be a seat for the chariot and the metal wire type "reigns" should attach to it.The hook mechanism that is attached to the wheels and hooks on to the legs is present but I'm not sure if it needs another part or not.The whole toy shows wear and tear, some parts are bent out of shape a bit.The toy measures about 10" long and 3.5" tall.
