Description: Antique Blue & White Salt Glaze Stoneware Pitcher, Basket Weave, Embossed flower Description: Offering an antique blue and white salt-glazed stoneware pitcher with a basket weave patter and an embossed flower which we believe to be a Morning Glory. Age unknown – others list this item as 1800’s, some say pre-1930. This piece would make a wonderful vase for a silk flower centerpiece for your dining room table. Maker’s Mark: no mark Dimensions: Approximately 8 ½” tall. 4” diameter at the top rim. Approximately 5” diameter near the base. Condition: VERY GOOD: Shows minor signs of wear and use commensurate with age but still very attractive. Glaze is still glossy. No crazing or cracks. Top rim is smooth, but there is one chip inside. One chip and rough edges in the base rim. About 3 or 4 little nicks on the sides. Glazing missed in miniscule spots, may be as-made.
