Description: Vintage print by Margaret Doveston in a chunky cream wooden frame. Margaret Doveston was an English artist born in 1884. She exhibited at the Royal Academy and became well known for her paintings of historical English family scenes, depicting figures in eighteenth century Georgian dress. She was quite quirky and occasionally included images of her pet parrot in her work. Frame dimensions 31cm x 20.5cm x 3cm. The print is in good condition and the colours remain vivid. The frame has signs of wear and age including a missing slither of wood (please see photos). Please view my feedback and buy with confidence.
