The top rim is 5.75" outer dimension (5 3/8" inner dimension) and the bottom rim is 5 7/8" outer dimension (5 3/8" inner dimension). There are multiple large and small chips and nicks around both rims with some moderate discoloration and paint wear. There is also some scratching and scuffing present with a few tiny white paint flecks. Appears to be a globe for the center of a 3-tier lamp, but may work as a shade.
