This unique cigarette case has been commissioned to FABERGÉ by the cabinet of Tsar Nicholas II for the celebrations of the Romanov's Tercentenary -300 Years Rule of the Romanov's Dynasty. This amazing case has been awarded by Tsar Nicholas II to the elite Husar Officer Captain Vladimir Kropotkyn. The case comes from his family estate. The case is engraved with his monogram VK in Cyrillic. The case depicting in the middle an enamel portrait of Tsar Nicholas II with the Romanov's Crown on the top,engraved with both years 1613-1913(in 1613 the Romanov's Dynasty began to rule). The case is decorated with 1ct natural Ruby precious stones in form of Lucky Horse Shoe. Excellent condition. 83mm x 73mm. Very impressive-128 grams heavy.
