Description: Antique Leuchtenburg Germany Hand Painted Porcelain Terrier 10" Hanging Plate I hesitate to call this a "dog hunting scene" since the dog appears more surprised than anything as he comes across a partridge? and its baby chick. And what an adorable terrier he is, just having the time of his life as he frolics through the grass. This is a beautiful hand painted hanging plate (circa early 1920s) that has the Leuchtenburg, Germany mark on the bottom along with the castle mark. The edge is scalloped with ornate scrolls embossed close to the edge. Measures 10" in diameter and 1 1/2" high and weighs 1 lb. 3.7 ounces.
