Description: A beautiful Art Deco period good quality Sterling Silver Heavy tankard / Mug , hallmarked for GH = George Howson ,Sheffield ,Sterling, Date letter B = 1944, the stepped base width 65 mm , approx 9 cm wide inc handle and stands 9.5 cm high , weight 155 gr [ 4.82 troy oz ] ,Used with signs of use various small marks and little knocks, as seen in the photo. the handle secure in working condition , needs polish to the good heavy sterling silver if required ,hallmarked strong and clear .marks on the rim, small body marks around the waist area .Engraved with SG in capital script just below the rim .[ if you needed to get this engraved it would no doubt cost a fair bit of the purchase money, ] I will post anywhere Paypal overseas please .
