This glass cup and saucer was produced in Bavaria by Theresienthal in the 1880s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. Both pieces are hand blown and have lead content. The ring when tapped. The cup and saucer are hand painted with subtle enamel colors creating an art nouveau blossom. The flower is an anemone. The petals have a feathery effect. There is translucent enamel and gilded accents that sparkle in the design. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold.
