Hartwell worked for Arthur Stone as well as Stone Associates; he stopped working in 1937, the first year of Stone Associates. The dish has never been monogrammed. The underside is marked for Stone Associates, sterling silver 925 purity and H for Arthur L. Hartwell. This piece is in excellent overall condition with only minor surface wear.
