Description: Gorgeous vintage Architectural Watercolor by Eduard Bretschneider of a lovely Manor House or Schloss, artist Signed and in vintage frame. Exquisite detail is seen on this beautiful painting of what looks to be a French chateau or manor house, if in Germany I believe they were called Schloss. Eduard Bretschneider (1849 - 1910) was a German 19th Century artistwith a limited number of works having come to auction. I imagine this work dates to the late 19th century. The artwork was removed, the glass and frame cleaned, items were reassembled. With new backing paper and new hanging hardware this painting is ready to hang or give as a gift. Thanks for looking!
