Description: Here up for sale is a used, running Aurora Thunderjet chassis from the mid 1960s. It is the solid-rivet type, and has a red/green/goldish wire motor with gray laminations, black magnets, and the standard small size chrome type wheels.. Has been fitted with rubber (not silicone) o-ring tires to give a low profile chassis with some wheelspin. The wheels have some wear and use marks. The front wheels are in the front hole position, but you can easily move the front axle to the rear hole to fit other TJet bodies where appropriate. Pickup shoes have a little groove wear. The motor and gear train run fairly smoothly. Speed is nothing out of the ordinary. You can replace the rear tires with silicones if you want better traction. Guide pin and screws not included.
