Description: I apologize but Ebay will shut the listing down if they cannot see that the container, tin, pouch does not contain any tobacco. I have had this happen to me so I now start every tobacco listing by emphasizing that this is an EMPTY item containing no tobacco!!!!! First of all, this tobacco tin is authentic and not a reproduction. My mother collected lots of tobacco items over her lifetime because her grandfather was a cigar maker in Pennsylvania and she was drawn to all things tobacco. I found this in her collection. It was a product of The United States Tobacco Co. in Richmond, VA and has 2 "hidden" hinges on the lid. It opens and closes easily and also has a curved handle. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches deep. I love the deep red color of the tobacco tin but the coolest thing is the triangle & ball fastener clasp on the front of the tin. Absolutely makes a great display item........my mom had it on display for the past 40 years in her "general store" she created. It is in good aged condition but please review the high definition pictures for more condition detail.
