Description: For sale is this antique blacksmith hand forged hammer/brick and stone paving tool, weighing 2lbs. 1.5 oz., with a 7" long head, with a trenching type blade on one side, measuring 2-7/8" wide at its widest point, with a 11/16" wide X 7/8" tall rectangular face. It has a wonderful rough and rugged patina, with a 13-13/16" wood handle. The handle is sound and solid, but easily removed because f its extra length above the eye. The steel is in excellent overall condition, showing use and wear, wonderfully irregular, with a rough and rugged patina.
