Surrounding the image are the words, "Boston Federal Trust Company 1899." It looks very much like the black eagle dollar bill that also came out in 1899The colors are black, grey and cream The graphics are impressive. Underneath the seal,“ we want to do business with the man on the other side”It has a metal (pewter?) base. The condition of this item is very good,with minimal wear and without any visible cracks or chips. On the base, there are some scratches. It would be a great addition to an American Art Glass and paperweight collection. The items I sell are between 40-120 years old. They will have signs of wear.
