Description: Selling my custom painted R400 Frameset from the early 90s. I bought this as a project to keep me busy and have a little fun. I painted the Aluminum frame in matte silver with gloss logos in the same color, leading to a ghosted effect. It does have have a few small dents on the top tube but they are hard to see in person. I really had to try to photograph them. Comes with cane creek 40 headset bearings (takes a 1inch thread less). Sold with the carbon Isaac fork. Also has a GXP threaded BB with very few miles installed . I put this bike (complete bike is not for sale) together as a neo retro build with all new components ( sram force axs 12 speed with carbon rim brake wheels). Looked amazing but was a stiffer ride than I expected. Pics attached for what it looked like. Just don't really want the frame to sit, although I often think about spraying it a different scheme and keeping it. Tldr: Awesome bike to build up, not perfect, fast light and stiff.
