Description: Maker: This charmingly naïve handmade and hand painted charger plate is by the well-known ceramics firm Solimene of Vietri Sul Mare, Italy. Design: The brightly colored plate features delightful stylized yellow flowers and blue leaves around a white center. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration or wear. There are several small manufacturing flaws on the underside edge and many tiny pinpoint pricks; these are typical of handmade Italian ceramics and part of their charm. One of the underside flaws has been well repaired, probably by the artist or the studio. Size: The charger is 13 3/4 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches deep and weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces.
