Description: This listing is for a Kino Lorber Blu-ray + Limited Edition Slipcover of John Waters' 1990 film Cry Baby, starring Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop, Ricki Lake, Traci Lords, Amy Locane, Susan Tyrrell, Mink Stole, Joe Dallesandro, and Polly Bergen among an all-star cast. The film has been newly remastered from the original camera negative, and the Blu-ray features a much better visual presentation than the 2014 Universal release. This is brand new and sealed. The 4K Dolby Vision / HDR10 disc features the Theatrical Cut and has the original stereo 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio as well as a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The Extended Director's Cut is on HD Blu-ray and also features both audio tracks. This is the first time the Director's Cut is available in High Definition, struck from the 4K original camera negative remaster (with a select few upscaled shots for some of the lost extended material). The slipcover is included but does have some wear from shipping by Kino. Please see the images for slipcover condition. The 4K Blu-ray is Region Free (playable in all 4K Blu-ray players) and the HD Blu-ray is Region A (USA / North America Blu-ray players). This is one of John Waters' most iconic films, his first following his decades-long collaboration with Dreamlander regular Divine in films like Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Polyester, and Hairspray.
