Description: Made by Danelectro for Sears. It's the same type of transformer-less design as the Amp-in-a-Case Danelectros. 3 vacuum tubes delivering 2.3 watts of tube goodness! All original tubes, speaker, covering, caps, power cord, everything. The original speaker was actually made by the high-end Hi-Fi company Fisher in the 50th week of 1965. It's beat-up looking but it all works perfectly. The only thing we had to do was clean it. The power cord has an old repair, but it is still good. Watch the demo video. It has a great clean sound and with a bit of boost from active pickups or a boost pedal it gets GLORIOUS crunch distortion. It stacks up against Fender tweed Champs! This one is from 1965 based on the speaker code.. From Silvertone World: The 1330/1390/1430 amp had the longest run of any Silvertone amplifier. It was cheap, it was reliable, and it actually looked pretty cool. The simple circuit produced 2.3 watts on a good day, and had one input jack and a simple volume control. Although model numbers, tubes, and nameplates changed, the essence of the 1330 remained the same. Introduced: Fall/Winter 1954 at $24.95 as model 57 G1330 During its loooong career it was:57 K, D/H/G UI 1330 then57 D/H/G/Y 139057 F/K/H/A 1430It was named the 'Meteor' from D1390 (1957) through K1430 (1960)Retired: Spring/Summer 1966 at $22.95 as model 57 G14
