The set of six antique dining chairs was crafted in France in the Renaissance style and the chairs date to around the year 1900. The armless dining chairs are carved in walnut wood and upholstered in a handsome brown faux leather on the chair seat and back panel. The nicely proportioned chairs are typical of the classic Renaissance style with the spindles in the chair back framed by blocks carved with rosettes, atop elegant column chair posts. Nicely shaped curved stretchers not only add further to the decorative effect of these very noble chairs, but also add to the sturdiness in daily use. The brown faux leather upholstery is accented with traditional nailhead trim which adds to the upscale appeal of the 6 antique walnut French Renaissance dining chairs. ConditionCondition: GOOD In overall good condition. Antique and vintage items by their very nature show normal wear to finish and miscellaneous scratches, nicks, and dings due to age and use. If there has been a break in the marble, it has been repaired and the repair may be visible. There may be minor restoration that is visible. Chairs considered 'good condition' may have professional structural repairs but are considered to be structurally sound. These types of repairs may be visible upon close inspection. Upholstered items may show wear consistent with age and use and may need to be reupholstered.
