Description: Circa mid 19th century earthenware caneware small CUP and SAUCER, - demitasse, - “WS&S / 10” -impressed marks, - Wilhelm Schiller & Son, Dobenbach, Bohemia, Austria,-rich milk chocolate brown in color (the saucer picture shows the color best) - matte surface, - acanthus leaf in - repeating Moorish arch panels around saucer and outside of cup. 4 7/16” dia, 2 1/4” dia, 1 5/8” tall. Condition - excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs, some wear to the glaze on the bottoms of the cup and saucer. - WS&S, Wilhelm Schiller & Son, Dobenbach, Bohemia, Austria (1829/1885-1914), Impressed marks. A large majolica and earthenware factory. A producer of yellowwares, canewares, and bright multi and dark colored surfaces on these products.
