Description: English Sterling Silver Rattail Round End Spoon Hallmarked CL Henry Clarke Date-marked 1712 Presented is a fantastic English sterling silver rattail table or serving spoon with a round end handle with a short from mid-drib and no monogram. It is hallmarked for silver made in London by Henry Clarke with a date-mark for silver made in 1712. I have posted pictures of my research in the photos above. This elegant piece has a full front midrib with only some pin-prick dings, some tip ware and some light scratches from gentle use and care. It is an excellent piece for the collector of fine antique silver.
