Description: Emerald green glass footed compote stamped on the base “E O Brody Co M6000 Cleveland O USA.” Both the base and the top edge are scalloped and there is a swirl and dot pattern around the edge. Brody Glass was founded in 1958 but the company did not manufacture the glass patterns. The items were primarily produced by Indiana Glass which later merged with Anchor Hocking. The glassware was originally made to be sold to the florist trade. This piece is a vivid emerald green color that would work well for Christmas or autumn entertaining.
