Description: 1957 Evinrude 3 hp outboard , completely restored, fluids drained and lightly lubricated to preserve it another 60 plus years, or fill it with gas and oil and run it , all factory original settings in place ,I don't restart my motors after restoration as a habit ,once they're clean they smell good and don't offend my better half. They will run if the new owner wants to get em dirty , I prefer to let them reminisce with each other in the new life they've earned . A survivor from the greatest industrial build in history.they were designed to run all day ,all year with gas and oil only, many of them still severing they're owners ,truly more dependable than anything ever built .The story's they inspire from viewing hearts will warm any dwelling as much as the firewood we strain our backs to carry in . I crate all my motors for protection , it costs more but they have earned it.
