Description: Exceptionally Rare, Mint J.B. Owens Renaissance (Oil Finish Utopian) 12.5” Vase Up for auction is this Renaissance (aka Oil Finish Utopian). It is the creation of William Long of Lonhuda Fame ~1899/1900. It is artist signed by Delores Harvey and is in the VERY RARE mold # 1117. This mold and all other existing molds were destroyed in the 1902 Owens factory fire. It is in excellent condition with no repairs of defect. I am deaccessioning select pottery from my Owens collection as it is a duplicate piece of pottery. So, it is time to set it free. NOTE: This is one of the only two pieces of this mold that I’ve seen in 35+ years. I use plenty of bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts during packing to ensure each item arrives in the same condition I shipped it. I also require each item be fully insured by the USPS mail service. See other auctions for additional pottery. Contact me if you have any questions on this piece of pottery.
