FENTON CRANBERRY BASKET THREADED OPTIC CRIMPED APPLIED SWIRL HANDLE VINTAGE

Description: Here's an older Fenton basket in cranberry. It has a narrow ribbed or threaded area at the base that widens as it goes up to the rim. The bottom is ground and unpolished. There is no oval Fenton logo on the bottom so this predates 1980, when they would have had the black and gold stickers. The basket measures approximately 8" at the top of the handle. It's about 7" wide at the widest point. The base is 3" in diameter. The basket is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The applied handle is intact and firmly attached. There are some tiny black spots in the glass. They are not on the surface. I'm wondering if these are air bubbles from the original glass blowing that have discolored over time. There is also what I would call a divit in the base. It does not show at all on display. I've included lots of photos for you to judge whether you can live with the flaws. From a distance or in a display cabinet, I doubt they would be at all apparent. Please take a look at my other listings.
