Description: Top Ten record album set No. 6 is "The Ed "Archie" Gardner Album" featuring "Duffy's Tavern" radio comedy star Ed Gardner. It is dated 1947 and contains four comic skits or dialogs, each of which takes up two record sides, although they are not pressed back to back:"The Sympathetic Part", with George Raft"Deems Dem and Dose", with Deems Taylor"Flatbush on the Thames", with Nigel Bruce"Two Top Gruskin."The record in the third picture is chipped, which eliminates the first few revolutions of "The Sympathetic Part, Part 2", and "Deems Dem and Dose, Part 1." Otherwise, the records all look to be in about VG+ or better condition, still beautifully shiny but with some scattered light surface scuffs and scratches. I've played them all on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were no skips or repeats, and mostly just typical light background noise, but with some occasional clicks, pops and ticking - none of it enough to overwhelm the dialog. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering devices and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. The album itself is in lightly used and worn condition, with the pocket seams intact, but some surface scrapes and edge wear on the cover.
